Autsajder

Inspired by real events, a moving film about a student of painting, whose life changes irreversibly, when by chance he falls into the modes of a terrifying totalitarian machine. The painting was directed by Adam Sikora - an award-winning cinematographer for such productions as: "Ah, sleep my love", "Mill and cross" and "Essential killing" and director of films "Nadal wracam. Portrait of Ryszard Krynicki "or" Love in the City of Gardens ". Next to Łukasz Sikora, who plays the leading role ("11 minutes"), we will see such Polish cinema personalities as: the notorious role in the famous "Symetria" - Mariusz Jakus, Marek Kalita ("Wataha"), Cezary Łukaszewicz ("Kruk. Szepty can be heard in dusk), Tomasz Sapryk ("Wołyń"), Mariusz Bonaszewski ("Afterimages") or Dorota Pomykała ("Ode to Joy"). The film was produced by Wytwórnia Filmów Fabularnych i Dokumentalnych responsible for the creation of, among others: "Karbala" and "Rose." The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. "Autsajder" took part in the prestigious selection of the Main Competition of the 43rd edition of the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia.

Franek is a young idealist. He is in love with music, painting and a certain girl. Despite the huge tension in the air associated with the introduction of martial law and dramatic events in the "Wujek" mine, he says that politics completely does not interest him. Everything will change. He is visited by a good friend - Beno and asks for the storage of a mysterious briefcase. When the next evening Franek returns from his girlfriend after the start of the militia, the patrol stops him. The boy is quickly accused of cooperating with the opposition, and the folder with leaflets found in his apartment becomes irrefutable proof. The matter is taken over by the Security Service. All his sensitivity and ideals are subjected to the highest test.
